Innovation, Inclusivity and Sustainability are the three pillars that define the direction and focus of DfE's Economic Vision. It is across these three pillars that we want to measure how Northern Ireland is performing. Under each pillar you can explore three different tiers of metrics.

• Tier 1: includes internationally recognised metrics comparing Northern Ireland to a group of 16 other Small Advanced Economies (SAE).
• Tier 2: data allows you to unpack our Tier 1 metrics to drill down on how Northern Ireland is performing locally and with other regions of the UK.
• Tier 3: metrics are specific to Northern Ireland and key policy areas and will align closely with KPIs across the Department and our delivery partners.
